Manufacturing Resource Plan

I bought into a small emergency preparedness business in 2009 which needed to turn around declining revenue and improve internal processes. Our primary value add was kitting, so I built a manufacturing resource plan to automate the ordering of supplies, assign preference for various products to vendors based on price, fit/quality, and lead time, and optimize inventories for our just-in-time manufacturing operation. We reduced labor and process errors while more than doubling revenue.
