E-Commerce YVR Case Study, 2015 – Grainger updated its e-commerce platform to a better-performing, more robust format, and the branch I was managing already competed daily for YVR Airport's safety, maintenance, repair, and operations supplies. We presented a program that helped YVR reduce labor, standardize supplies, consolidate SKUs, fine-tune pricing, and improve inventory management, leading to a multi-year exclusive agreement. The success was used as a case study and presented to the full team audience at Grainger's national The Works conference and vendor event as a model for deploying the e-commerce channel.
